Terms of Service
Last updated: July 29, 2026
These terms apply when you use GutCheck, a product of 168th Street Entertainment, LLC (a Missouri company). By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What GutCheck is
GutCheck takes a business idea you describe and returns an AI-generated assessment: a verdict, supporting analysis, and, if you request it, a draft business plan. It is a starting point for your own thinking, not a substitute for it.
Opinions, not professional advice
GutCheck gives opinions, not professional advice. The analysis is produced by AI models working from the text you provide, and it can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. We make no promise that any verdict, number, or recommendation is accurate. Nothing here is legal, financial, investment, tax, or accounting advice. Before you spend money, sign anything, or quit anything based on an idea GutCheck liked, verify it yourself and talk to a qualified professional.
Your content
Your idea stays yours. By submitting it, you give us permission to process it (including sending it to the third-party AI providers named in our privacy policy) for the sole purpose of producing your analysis. You are responsible for what you submit: do not submit content that is unlawful or that you have no right to share.
Fair use of the service
The service is rate limited. Do not try to get around those limits, scrape or overload the service, or use it in a way that interferes with anyone else using it. We may suspend or block access that abuses the service.
The service is provided as is
GutCheck is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or available at any given time, and we may change or discontinue it at any point.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, 168th Street Entertainment, LLC and its owners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of GutCheck. This includes decisions you make based on the analysis. GutCheck is free to use, and our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. When we do, we will update this page and its date. Using the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
